1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Fara ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

Fara is a personal productivity tool that integrates with Google services (Drive, Docs, Sheets) to help you automate tasks and manage documents. The app is provided as-is by an independent developer.

3. User Accounts & Authorization

• You must have a valid Google account to use Fara.
• You authorize Fara to access Google services on your behalf via OAuth.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.
• You can revoke access at any time through Google Account Permissions.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use Fara only for lawful purposes. You will NOT:

• Violate Google's Terms of Service or API policies
• Use the app to access data you don't own or have permission to access
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the app
• Use the app for spam, harassment, or malicious activity

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of Fara is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We do NOT store your Google data on external servers
• All operations are performed locally on your device
• OAuth tokens are stored securely in your system keychain

6. No Warranty

Fara is provided "AS IS" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all systems or Google API changes
• Data integrity or backup (always maintain your own backups)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The developer is NOT liable for any data loss, corruption, or damages resulting from use of Fara
• You use the app at your own risk
• The developer's total liability shall not exceed $0 USD

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

Fara's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Fara at any time, for any reason, without notice. You can stop using the app at any time by revoking OAuth access.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

11. Independent Project

Fara is an independent developer project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved through informal negotiation or binding arbitration.
